1.5.4 Sketch Plane Cube Day 2

Step 1) Make a copy of  1.5.4 Sketch Plane Cube into your GTT Turn in Folder.  There are only 3 conclusion questions that must be answered, but you will need the drawing to help you dimension your creation.
Step 2) Open Autodesk Inventor Profession 2014 and create a new Standard.ipt
Step 3) When that opens select 2d Sketch by clicking on the pencil and drafting angle in the upper left hand corner and select the X-Y Plane to work in.
Step 4) Use the line or rectangle tool to draw a 2" square.  Dimension it to be 2 inches on each side with 90 degree corners, if you have not already done so.
Step 5) Click Finish Sketch and Extrude your square 2 inches to create your 3d cube
Step 6) Right click on a different side Create a new 2d sketch and use that sketch to extrude a 1" square, 1/2".
Step 7) Right click on a side to create a new 2d sketch and use that sketch to extrude a 1" circle, 1/2".
Step 8) Use the Hole feature or Extrude (cut) to drill a 1" diameter hole all of the way through the cube.
Step 9) Find where you can change the materials and find one you like, then use your tools to get it to rotate.
Step 10) Answer the conclusion questions and turn in your worksheet online using Canvas.

If you finish early try out different materials or change its appearance to make it look like a cool artifact that you might find on Mars. Then get it to start spinning on your screen.
